Account and Data Deletion Policy

Effective Date: February 15, 2025

This policy explains how account and user data deletion works in AutoCamera. It is designed to satisfy Apple App Store and Google Play requirements for account and data deletion. AutoCamera is an AI product photo transformation service and supports guest access, Sign in with Apple, and Google Sign-In.

1. How to Delete Your Account In-App

  1. Open the AutoCamera app and go to Settings.
  2. Select Delete Account.
  3. Review the notice and submit your deletion request.

Requests submitted through this path are treated as account and related user data deletion requests.

2. Alternative Request by Email

If you cannot access the app or cannot use the in-app deletion menu, you may request deletion by email.

Recommended details: account email, sign-in method (Guest/Apple/Google), and request reason

3. Data Subject to Deletion

Once your deletion request is approved, the following categories are subject to deletion.

  • Profile information: account identifier, email address, display name, and related profile fields
  • Sign-in linkage data: Apple/Google login identifiers and linkage metadata
  • SNS linkage data: social-network integration data used for service features
  • Transformation history: AI product photo transformation request and processing history
  • Uploaded and generated images: files stored in storage systems, including Amazon S3
  • Payment-related data: payment reference data and transaction linkage data retained by us
  • Guest identifiers: device/session linkage information used for guest access

4. Deletion Timeline

Deletion is completed within 30 days after request receipt. If additional time is required for technical or legal reasons, we will provide notice within the limits of applicable law.

5. Legal Retention Exceptions

Certain records may be retained for mandatory retention periods under applicable e-commerce, tax, consumer protection, or similar laws.

  • Payment and transaction records: retained as required for tax and payment verification
  • Dispute response records: minimum records required for complaints, refunds, and legal disputes

Retained data is used only for legally required purposes and is deleted without undue delay after the retention period ends.

6. Active Subscription Users

If you have an active subscription, cancel the subscription first to prevent future charges.

  • iOS: cancel in App Store subscription settings
  • Android: cancel in Google Play subscription settings

Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate actions, and both must be completed.

7. No Recovery After Deletion

Once deletion is completed, deleted data cannot be recovered. Please back up any necessary data before requesting deletion.

8. App Marketplace Compliance

AutoCamera provides an in-app account deletion path, clear disclosure of deletion scope and timing, legal retention exceptions, and an alternative email request channel to comply with Apple App Store and Google Play requirements.
